Jason Priestley is dishing on Brad Pitt and his days on "Beverly Hills, 90210."

The 44-year-old actor and former teen idol spills plenty in the upcoming book "Jason Priestley: A Memoir," which comes out May 6.

Us Weekly got a look at a few excerpts, including one about Shannen Doherty that just confirms what we already know about the gentle, compassionate, empathetic actress who is loved by all who know her.

Doherty, who played Priestley's sister on "Beverly Hills, 90210," had a reputation of being a tad ... difficult at times. Priestly wrote about one of his first encounters with her in 1990, when Fox executives sent the pair via private jet on a last-minute trip to New York City for a meeting with advertisers.

"I could not believe my ears at Shannen's very first words after she boarded," Priestley wrote. "Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, 'Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?' She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn't really tell if Shannen was kidding or not."

Heh heh ... he said "butt."

Priestly continued, "But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began bitching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else."

Priestly also wrote about Pitt, who was one of his roommates in Los Angeles when both were still unknown in 1987.

"Just for fun, we used to have competitions over who could go the longest without showering and shaving," Priestley wrote of the three-time Oscar winner. "Brad always won. Having to go on an audition meant cleaning up, which is what usually put an end to the streak."

Those crazy kids.

More excerpts will be included in the new print version of Us Weekly.
