PLEASANT HILL -- Firefighters quickly contained a one-alarm fire Friday night at an apartment building in Pleasant Hill.

No injuries were reported.

The fire broke out about 6:30 p.m. inside a building at 555 Chollo Court, an East Contra Costa Fire Protection District dispatcher said. A spokesman for the department said via Twitter said that the apartment was fully engulfed, but that the fire was under control just before 7 p.m.

The building is off Old Quarry Road just north of Golf Club Road, near the Diablo Valley College campus.
