BERKELEY -- A 19-year-old UC Berkeley student has been arrested for filming women showering in a campus residence hall, university police said.

Jason Do is accused of filming multiple women with his cell phone inside the coed showers at Maximino Martinez Residence Hall, police said.

One female student reported being filmed twice, on March 15 and April 2. On each occasion, someone got into the shower stall next to her, and held a cell phone above her shower stall, according to police. When she screamed, the intruder ran away.

A police investigation led authorities to Do, who has been charged with seven counts of invading privacy, a misdemeanor, for allegedly filming women as far back as September 2012.
