Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding is officially set to take place in Italy, not France.

Great. Now I have to change my flight AND my hotel.

City officials of Florence confirmed to the Associated Press on Friday that the couple will marry at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, and not in a French palace, as was originally assumed.

There's a joke about the word "assume" and these two I'm not prepared to attempt at this time.

The couple fueled that assumption when their wedding invitation leaked last week, revealing the dinner on the "eve of our marriage" would take place in Paris.

The rapper and reality star are reportedly spending 300,000 euros to rent the scenic Italian property that dates back to the 16th century. Which is -- add this, carry the 5, bring down a zero, carry the one -- more money than I make.

Actually, it's about $400,000 in U.S. money, which is only the tip of the Italian iceberg when it comes a bill that reportedly is in the neighborhood of $30 million.

I hope they don't mind if I buy my gift at Target.

Entertainment Tonight was the first news outlet to report the big news Thursday night, but sources told Us Weekly that the two have more surprises.

"Kim and Kanye have told all guests different info," a source said. "No one knows all of the details."
