OAKLAND -- At least one person suffered minor injuries in a multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig on northbound Interstate 880 in Oakland on Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place just before 10:40 a.m., near the Broadway off-ramp. Officers shut down two lanes of traffic for more than an hour to remove the big rig from the highway. They reopened all lanes of traffic about 1 p.m.
The wreck involved three vehicles and the big rig, officers said.
