OAKLAND -- Three men were shot Friday night while driving in East Oakland, police said Saturday. They were in stable condition Saturday at a hospital and are expected to recover.
The men were 36, 26 and 25 years old. Their names were not released and it was not known if they were related to each other or were friends.
The shooting happened about 10:19 p.m. in the 2500 block of 38th Avenue. The men were driving in a car when they were shot at from an unknown location, police said.
Two were driven by another person to a hospital and the third was taken by ambulance.
A motive has not been determined and no arrests have been made. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the gunman.
