GOLDEN, Colo. -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.2 has been reported off the coast of Jalisco, Mexico.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the tremor was at 2:54 a.m. PDT Saturday. The epicenter was 303 kilometers (187 miles) southwest of Puerto Vallarta.
There were no immediate reports of damage. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the tremor did not generate a tsunami alert.
