Tracy Morgan's estranged mother was turned away at the hospital when she went to visit her son, who was critically injured in a car accident last weekend, according to TMZ.

Alicia Warden -- who is known for not having a close relationship with Morgan -- reportedly told TMZ no one called her about her son's accident. She said she heard about it on TV.

She told the website she went to visit Morgan on Saturday, but wasn't allowed in by hospital security and Tracy's fiancee, Megan Wollover. Warden believes Tracy's fiancee has a thing against her.

Warden said she returned the next day and was admitted, but the former "Saturday Night Live" star was unconscious and she was only allowed to stay for five minutes. She said his friends and a pastor were in the room.

Warden added,"All I wanted was for our family to be alone with him. I wanted to pray over him and couldn't do that because so many people were in the room."

Morgan -- who said in a 2012 interview he hadn't seen his mother in 11 years -- was injured on a New Jersey freeway while coming home from a show, when a big rig hit the van limo he and his friends were riding in. Morgan's friend and collaborator James McNair, 62, died at the scene. Morgan and comics Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton, and Morgan's assistant, Jeff Millea, were injured.

Morgan is expected to be in the hospital for at least two more weeks. He suffered a broken leg, nose and ribs and has undergone surgery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Center in New Brunswick.

The big rig driver, 35-year-old Kevin Roper, of Jonesboro, Ga., reportedly hadn't slept in at least 24 hours before the accident. He's scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday on charges of vehicular homicide and three counts of assault by auto, according to court documents.
