OAKLAND -- A 13-year-old girl was forced into a car at gunpoint and sexually assaulted last week and investigators are looking for three suspects linked to the crime, police said.

At 11 a.m. on June 6, the girl was walking in the 9200 block of Coral Road when a newer model, burgundy 4-door sedan with a light colored interior pulled alongside her, police said. Three men inside the car forced the girl inside at gunpoint and sexually assaulted her.

After the assault, the suspects dropped the victim off in the 5500 block of Dover Street and drove away, police said.

The girl gave basic descriptions of the suspects, who are all described as black males.

One is described as 17 to 19 years old, about 6 foot 1 inches tall with a medium build and a medium complexion.

The oldest suspect is described as 20 to 25 years old, standing 6 foot 5 with a thin build and a light complexion. She said he had a 1 to-2-inch scar on the left side of his chin.

Another suspect is described as 17 to 19 years old and standing 6 foot 2 with a thin build and a dark complexion. She did not give police any description of their clothing, hair or eye colors.

Police need the public's help identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the youth and family services unit at 510-238-3641 or 855-847-7247. Tips can be given anonymously.
