OAKLAND -- A bank of lights in left field went out at the O.co Coliseum on Saturday night, delaying the A's game against the Yankees as the teams were about to start the fourth inning.

The delay began at 8:19 p.m. with the A's leading 2-1. The lights came back on at 8:51 to the cheers from the sellout crowd of 36,067.

Play resumed at 8:57 after a delay of 38 minutes.
