SAN JOSE -- After adult mosquitoes tested positive for West Nile virus last week, the Santa Clara County Vector Control District has scheduled two new rounds of mosquito fogging treatment in and around San Jose.

The first round of fogging will take place Tuesday, starting at 11 p.m. in Campbell and in and around the Willow Glen area of San Jose, and is scheduled to last several hours.

The fogging area borders Willow Street and Minnesota Avenue on the north, South Bascom Avenue and New Jersey Avenue on the west, Foxworthy and Husted avenues on the south, and Newport, Lincoln and Cottle avenues to the east.

The second round is scheduled for Thursday, also at 11 p.m. in parts of Campbell and Los Gatos. An exact border for the fogging treatment has yet to be set.

Maps of the areas that will be fogged can be viewed online at http://www.sccgov.org/sites/vector/Pages/vcd.aspx.
