Plot details of "Star Wars: Episode VII" -- specifically the roles of actors Lupita Nyong'o and Adam Driver -- may be leaking from London's Pinewood Studios, where filming on the saga's re-ignition is well underway.

MakingStarWars.net reports its insiders on the set say Nyong'o, Driver and British actor David Oyelowo will play villainous "Jedi Hunters," who dress in black, frequently wear helmets, and track down Jedi for what's left of the Empire. They, of course, carry lightsabers, hang around a horde of troopers who also wear black, and are supposedly reminiscent of the Inquisitors seen in the upcoming animated series "Star Wars Rebels."

The site makes a point of saying these are rumors and may or may not be true. Which is good enough for me.

One source reportedly says Nyong'o has been seen wearing yellow contact lenses on the set, testing them for the role.

Maybe it's just a fashion thing.

Sources also reportedly say there is not a New Republic, per se, in the next film, as portrayed in many of the Lucas-approved books floating around the past couple decades. The Jedi Hunters supposedly idolize the Sith and want to resurrect it.

This is where I make a point of not reaching for the Darth Maul action figure I keep by my bed.

In the new J.J. Abrams film, Luke Skywalker has supposedly spent the past 30 years fighting to keep the Jedi Hunters in check. MakingStarWars.net speculates that Darth Sidious, also known as Emperor Palpatine, may be back, even though Darth Vader supposedly killed him at the end of "Return of the Jedi."

You can count on me to check MakingStarWars.net every 3 to 4 minutes for updates until the movie is released in December 2015.
