A woman whom officers initially contacted as a suspicious person was arrested after they found methamphetamine and evidence that she was dealing the substance in her vehicle, Alameda police said.

Along with methamphetamine, the 47-year-old woman, who was arrested about 12:45 a.m. June 21 in the 2100 block of Shoreline Drive, had more than $800 in cash, a digital scale and plastic bags, according to police.

A man, also 47, who was with the woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing less than one ounce of marijuana, police said.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18

  • BURGLARY -- Someone entered a storage locker and stole two canopy-style tents, which were later found abandoned on the grounds of a school campus, police said. The incident was reported at 8:40 a.m. in the 2700 block of Buena Vista Avenue. Another burglary was reported at 9:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of High Street, where someone stole property from a garage. A man, 54, whom officers detained nearby was identified as the person responsible and arrested, police said. Along with burglary, the man was accused of possessing suspected drug paraphernalia and he was wanted on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

  • AUTO BURGLARY -- A burglar stole a countertop stove from a motor home parked at a storage facility in the 1800 block of Clement Avenue. The theft was reported about 12:35 p.m.

    THURSDAY, JUNE 19

  • PETTY THEFT -- Someone stole a man's wallet off a table while he was inside a business in the 700 block of Atlantic Avenue. The theft was reported about 4:45 p.m.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 6:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Main Street.

    FRIDAY, JUNE 20

  • COMMERCIAL BURGLARY -- A burglary of a business in the 1400 block of High Street was reported about 5:30 a.m., police said.

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- Identity theft was reported about 9:55 a.m. in the 3200 block of Liberty Avenue, where someone obtained the victim's personal information and then used their credit card information to purchase items.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- Vehicles were reported stolen at 1:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Sixth Street, about 7:40 p.m. in the 2300 block of Blanding Avenue and about 9:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of Oak Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole a woman's purse from her residence in the 200 block of Creedon Circle while she was on vacation. A family member had numerous guests visiting the residence around the time of the theft, which was reported just before 3 p.m., police said.

  • ROBBERY -- A robbery occurred about 11:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of Main Street, where police said two suspects approached a victim as he sat in his car and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects fled on foot.

  • BURGLARY -- Someone entered a hotel room in the 1100 block of the Pacific Marina and stole a guest's bag containing medication in what police have classified as a burglary. The theft was reported just before 11 a.m.

    SATURDAY, JUNE 21

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- Police recovered a vehicle stolen in San Leandro at 4 a.m. in the 3000 block of Main Street.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- Vehicles were reported stolen just before 11 a.m. in the 2400 block of Central Avenue, about 11:15 a.m. in the 3100 block of El Paseo, and about 11:20 p.m. in the 2200 block of Central Avenue.

    SUNDAY, JUNE 22

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- Police recovered a vehicle stolen in Oakland about 2:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers found another vehicle stolen in Oakland about 7:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of Blanding Avenue and a vehicle stolen at Fruitvale BART about 11:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Santa Clara Avenue.

  • MARIJUANA POSSESSION -- A 37-year-old motorist was cited after he was found in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop, police said. It occurred about 9:15 a.m. in the 700 block of Atlantic Avenue.
