Manhattan Beach -- A graphic video has surfaced on YouTube showing an entangled shark biting a long-distance swimmer in Manhattan Beach on Saturday.

The video posted by Loud Labs shows a man fishing off a pier and a group of people around him laughing. At one point in the video they can be heard laughing and commenting about a group of swimmers about to make contact with the hooked animal.

They keep laughing even after the bitten man could be heard screaming for help. Eventually, they appear to realize the gravity of the situation and quiet down before they began to warn other swimmers to get out of the water.

The victim has identified himself on social media as Steven C. Robles of Rolling Hills Estates.
