BRENTWOOD -- Police are looking for a 14-year-old boy wanted in connection with a "sexting" incident at a Brentwood middle school, authorities said Thursday.

A felony warrant for the boy's arrest was issued in late June, but the boy has not turned himself in, according to Brentwood police. Officers twice went to the boy's home to arrest him but he was not there, said Sgt. Walter O'Grodnick.

The boy's name was not released because he is a minor.

In March, police were called to Adams Middle School to investigate a report that students there were "sexting," exchanging nude partially nude images of themselves through text messages on cell phones. At the time, several students at multiple schools were believed to have sent or received images.

In one case, a student reportedly used an incriminating picture of a girl to force her into sexual acts, police said.
