MORGAN HILL -- Police seized over 100 grams of methamphetamine and arrested two men after officers searched a car that was illegally parked in a disabled parking spot early Wednesday morning.

Gilroy resident Denny Holderfield, 50, and San Jose resident Colin Brunton, 45, were arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and attempting to conceal or destroy evidence after officers found them parked in a disabled spot on Woodview Avenue without a placard around 1 a.m., according to Morgan Hill police.

When officers spoke with the men and learned of Holderfield's identity, they discovered he was on probation and searched the car, where they found the methamphetamine in the engine compartment.

Brunton and Holderfield are being held at Santa Clara County Jail.
