There will be no "Bash Brothers" reunion any time soon. Former A's slugger Mark McGwire, now the Los Angeles Dodgers hitting coach, addressed Jose Canseco's pleas to mend fences when interviewed by ESPNLosAngeles.com.

"It's too late. I don't care to ever speak to him again," McGwire told the site on Wednesday. "What he did was wrong."

Canseco accused McGwire of performance-enhancing drugs in his 2005 book "Juiced." McGwuire later admitted to using PEDs in 2010. The rift between the former A's teammates won't be healed soon.

Canseco appeared at last weekend's 25th anniversary celebration of the A's 1989 World Series championship team McGwire, who was with the Dodgers for a series in St. Louis, sent in a video for the ceremony.

Canseco continued his attempt to make amends Wednesday night with a flurry of tweets aimed at McGwire that included "I respected u as a player & person. Ive suffered more than anyone from writing this book. I don't know how else to say I'm sorry. -- your fan"
