Pacific Gas and Electric has restored power to hundreds of residents in Santa Clara County since an outage that occurred Monday night, a PG&E spokesman said.
820 PG&E customers were without power in Santa Clara County near the Lexington Reservoir around 8 p.m. on Monday, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
A downed wire in the roadway was found to be the cause of the outage, he said.
A crew was called to the scene and was able to restore power to all but 41 customers as of midnight, Guidi said.
PG&E expects power to be completely restored by 8 a.m., according to Guidi.
