The following calls were among those handled by the Pittsburg police Aug. 5-11, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Aug. 5 Warrant: An arrest was made on Harbor and Hawthorne streets for an outstanding warrant. Accident: Officers responded to Buchanan Road and Suzanne Drive for the report of a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident. Shots fired: Officers responded to the 400 block of East Santa Fe Avenue for the report of shots fired at an occupied vehicle.
Aug. 6 Burglary: A vehicle in the 100 block of Bliss Avenue was burglarized. Petty theft: Someone was arrested in the 600 block of Bailey Road for shoplifting. Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from the 700 block of East 12th Street.
Aug. 7 DUI: Someone was arrested in 2200 block of Railroad Avenue when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Burglary: A residence in the 100 block of San Tomas Drive was burglarized. Accident: A vehicle accident with injuries occurred on Crestview Lane and Crestview Drive.
Aug. 8 Stolen property: Someone was arrested on Arlington Drive and Dover Way for receiving stolen property. Warrant: An arrest was made in the 200 block of Plover Place for an outstanding warrant. Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from the 100 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Aug. 9 Drugs: Someone was arrested in the 2100 block of Railroad Avenue for suspected drug possession. Battery: Officers responded to Rio Verde Drive and San Marco Boulevard for the report of battery. Public intoxication: Someone was arrested on Harbor Street and East Leland Road for public intoxication.
Aug. 10 Drugs: Someone was arrested on Harbor Street for suspected drug possession. Recovery: Officers recovered a stolen vehicle in the 1100 block of Maple Street. DUI: Someone was arrested on Harbor and School streets for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Aug. 11 Reckless driving: Someone was arrested on Fallen Leaf Way and Meadowbrook Avenue for reckless driving. Shots fired: Officers responded to the 300 block of West Eighth Street for a report of shots fired into an occupied dwelling. Assault: Officers responded to the 1600 block of Ronnie Street for the report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
