Voters' approval of Prop. 30 relieves pressure

Dear Editor:

Thanks to Gov. Jerry Brown for getting Proposition 30 passed (despite spending $69,000,000,000 on a high-speed train nobody wants or needs). Now I won't feel guilty for not participating in our schools' fundraising. No more cookie dough to neighbors, coffee sales, See's candy. No more buying or selling coupons for things nobody will use, but purchase out of neighborly goodness. Now I can let them know to come and ask you for the money.
