Tyler Hoechlin is a candidate to play Batman in the next Superman film, according to CosmicBookNews.com.
That's a lot of beefcake for one movie.
Hoechlin, who has starred in "Teen Wolf," to "Road To Perdition," will reportedly screen test with Henry Cavill. You know, to measure the bro-factor and compare capes and stuff.
"Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder announced the pairing Saturday at Comic-Con. No word on whether they've cleaned up the mess from all the nerd-heads exploding.
The website reports Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder are looking for the new Batman with a reputation similar to Cavill's when he was testing for Superman. It's also been reported that better known actors could also be testing for the role.
Two words, folks: Adam West.
Filming is expected to begin in early 2014, so screen tests should be happening soon.
Cosmic Book News also reported that the Superman/Batman movie will features more than one villain. Lex Luthor is expected to be in the mix, but it's not known who the other might be.
The sequel will reportedly be set a year after "Man of Steel," and the world is still getting used to this Superman guy. Batman clashes with Supes when they first meet.
