ORINDA -- The host Matadors' quick-strike offense got a big day out of quarterback Drew Anderson, who threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns in a win over St. Mary's (0-1).

"He's got an arm and he understands the system we've put in place for him," Miramonte coach Jack Schram said of Anderson. "He's got free range to audible and we'll live with any decision he makes."

Dominic Paoletti, Will Fuller and Ryan Anderson all had touchdown catches as Paoletti had seven catches for 183 yards.

Leading 21-13 early in the fourth, the Matadors (1-1) struck fast, scoring on one play as Anderson hit Fuller for a 62-yard score to help put the game out of reach.

Ray Clark ran for over 100 yards and had two touchdowns for Miramonte, scoring on a 22-yard run in the first quarter and from five-yards out in the third.
