Serena, this is Michael: Serena Williams shy? So claims the tennis megastar when it comes to introducing herself to swimmer Michael Phelps.
Although Williams is competing in her third Olympics, she has yet to meet the man who has 22 medals.
Williams, who won her first singles Olympic gold medal Saturday, lamented the fact she's yet to meet the swimmer who sometimes seems more fish and than human.
The tennis player spotted Phelps in the Athletes Village recently.
"I passed by him, and I'm really shy," Williams said. "And he didn't see me, so ..."
She's still waiting for that introduction.

The 'Other' Jamaican star: Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce became only the third woman in Olympic history to defend her gold medal in the 100-meter dash Saturday, joining luminaries Wyomia Tyus from 1968 and Gail Devers from 1996.
But that doesn't mean she will achieve celebrity status back home in Kingston.
"Sometimes when I go to the supermarket they ask me questions -- about Usain (Bolt), 'Where is Usain?' 'How is Usain?' 'Do you train with Usain?'" Fraser-Pryce said. "I'm OK with that because I'm not one of those persons who likes the limelight."

Ten-time Olympian still going strong: Canada's Ian Millar rode into Olympic history Saturday by competing in his 10th games -- the most of any athlete.
The 65-year-old Millar, aboard Star Power, was riding in the show jumping qualifying round for individual medals. He surpassed Austrian sailor Hubert Raudaschi, who retired in 1996 after appearing in nine games.
Millar has been an Olympic competitor for 40 years, and the only games he missed since he began were the Western-led boycott of Moscow in 1980. His first games were in Munich in 1972 and he hasn't ruled out competing in 2016.

Collins kicked off team: Former 100-meter world champion Kim Collins was expelled by his St. Kitts and Nevis team for missing training sessions. He said he was being punished for spending time with his wife.
Collins was hoping to compete in his fifth straight Olympics and carried the St. Kitts and Nevis flag at the opening ceremony.
Collins said he found the village stressful and spent time with his wife because she helped coach him, and he needed peace and quiet before racing.
Earlier Saturday, Collins had posted on his Twitter account that "Even men in prison get their wives to visit."

No appeal needed: Less than a week after losing a disputed individual semifinal, South Korea's Shin A-lam earned a silver medal after a 7-4 loss to China in the women's epee team final.
"I felt like crying again on the podium," Shin said Saturday, and touched her silver medal with both hands. "I am really happy now. My teammates and people back in Korea gave me wonderful support this week."
Shin lost a disputed individual semifinal Monday against Britta Heidemann of Germany, who scored the decisive point after judges put a second back on the clock. South Korea claimed the match should have been over.
