SAN JOSE -- Registration for the spring San Jose 408K Race to the Row opened Monday, race director J.T. Service said.

The eight-kilometer road race that benefits the Pat Tillman Foundation and its Team Tillman initiative is scheduled to be held March 10. It starts at HP Pavilion and ends at Santana Row. The inaugural event last year sold out with more than 3,000 runners entered. It was the country's largest 8K, Service said.

"We have created a course that can sustain many thousands of people, and we will continue to responsibly grow the event while maintaining the quality of last year's critically acclaimed race," Service said in a statement.
