There were no new reports in the Lafayette Police Department logs.

ORINDA

The following are excerpts from the Orinda Police Department:

Thursday, Oct. 1

Burglary — A total $980 worth of property was reported stolen from two vehicles parked at Grizzly Peak Stables. Both vehicles' front passenger windows were broken, causing a total of $800 in damage.

Monday, Oct. 5

Burglary — $1,000 worth of property was reported stolen from a locked vehicle on the 00 block of Bates Boulevard.

Wednesday, Oct. 7

Grand theft — $700 worth of property was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot at Miramonte High School.

Burglary — $239 worth of property was reported stolen from a locked vehicle in the parking lot at Miramonte High School. A window was broken, causing $200 in damage.

Burglary — $415 worth of property was reported stolen from a locked vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on the 00 block of Warford Terrace.

Moraga

The following excerpts were taken from the Moraga police log:

class="listingshead2">Thursday, oct. 1

grand theft — Someone removed a wallet and tennis gear through an open window on a 1997 Toyota Landcruiser in the 0-100 block of York Place. Total value of items taken were $780.

stolen vehicle — A 2008 BMW X3 was stolen from a residence in the 0-100 block of Corliss Drive. The owners' LeMans road bike worth $2,000 was inside the BMW along with his government credentials.

grand theft — A Tom Tom Global Positioning System valued at $200 and approximately $30 in cash was taken from a silver 2005 Chrysler Pacific parked in the 200 block of Calle La Mesa. A gym bag that contained an expensive tennis racket and clothing worth approximately $500 was also taken.

residential burglary — Someone used a garage door remote control, that had been taken from an unlocked 2006 Ford Mustang to open a garage door in the 200 block of Calle La Mesa. The suspect then entered a 2008 BMW parked inside and stole a brief case.

petty theft — An Apple I-Pod power cord and Samson car charger were taken from a Toyota Prius parked in the 100 block of Calle La Mesa. The merchandise was worth $110.

Saturday, oct. 3

grand theft — A 16-year-old male told officers he left his unlocked black BMX bicycle worth $1,000 parked outside Safeway and when he returned 10 minutes later it was missing.

grand theft — While a resident in the 200 block of Alderbrook Place was out of town, her son hosted a party for approximately 50 partygoers. When she returned home she noticed that her company owned Mac Power box laptop computer was missing. The estimated loss is approximately $1,200.

Monday, oct. 5

grand theft — Someone stole approximately 50 feet of #2 SJL copper wire from a spool in the rear lot of Moraga Pumping Station on School Street.
