  • Jade Fon Painters Exhibit and Tribute to Jade Fon -- Feb. 2-28. Reception 2:30-4:30 p.m. Feb. 10. The Jade Fon Painters, a long-established group of local artists named in honor of well-known teacher and mentor Jade Fon, are having an exhibit of their paintings and artwork. The artists, many of whom have been painting together for 29 years since studying under Fon, enjoy painting weekly on location throughout the Bay Area. The exhibit will include a retrospective tribute acknowledging the influence, teaching and guidance by Jade Fon, and will include some of his paintings, sketches, art materials, quotes and personal mementos.
