Wednesday, Feb. 20
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Officers responded to the 400 block of Paseo Del Campo after multiple calls about two females were observed soliciting without a permit. Subjects were contacted and advised to cease all activities until securing a permit. WARRANT: Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Ascot Drive for the welfare check of a 5-year-old by Contra Costa Child and Family Services. No issues with the child were found, but a parent was arrested when found to have an outstanding federal warrant. ANIMAL IN ROADWAY: Officers responded to the area of Alta Mesa Drive, along with animal control, for the report of a deer blocking the roadway. Upon arrival the deer was not located.Thursday, Feb. 21
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Officers received a report of a two-vehicle accident on Canyon Road and Sanders Drive. After conducting an extensive area check, they were unable to locate any vehicles. VEHICLE THEFT: Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Ascot Drive for the report of a stolen silver 1996 Honda Accord. An area check was conducted with negative results.Friday, Feb. 22
PARKING COMPLAINT: A resident on Bollinger Canyon Road reported several vehicles were obstructing the view of drivers. Upon arrival, officer found that all the vehicles had left the area. Saturday, Feb. 23
CIVIL DISPUTE: Officers responded to Ascot Court for a civil dispute between a landlord and tenant over an eviction. Officers documented the incident. SEXUAL BATTERY: Officers were dispatched to a sexual battery report at Saint Mary's College. The victim told officers she was inappropriately touched by an unknown male. The case is under investigation. RECOVERED VEHICLE: Officers recovered a stolen vehicle in the 2000 block of Ascot Drive after a resident reported the vehicle had been left unattended for two days.
