ORINDA -- High school students are invited to apply for a one-week summer internship with the personal injury law firm GJEL Accident Attorneys, where they can learn about the legal profession.
The unpaid internship will give students the opportunity to experience an attorney's typical day and learn about different legal fields. Interns typically sit in on depositions, see how cases progress, dig into investigations, observe trials and can interview a trial attorney.
The deadline is June 13 to apply for the internship, which will take place from July 21-25. The application and more information are available by visiting www.gjel.com. Click on News and Resources, then Summer Internship Program.
