Ohio State Buckeyes big man Jared Sullinger has been medically red flagged by NBA doctors, multiple league sources told ESPN.com on Monday.
Sullinger, who is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2012 NBA draft, underwent a series of medical tests at the NBA draft combine a week ago. According to sources, the doctors who looked at Sullinger were concerned with Sullinger's back.
Sullinger's agent, David Falk, when reached via phone by ESPN.com, said he was not in a position to comment on the story.
Sullinger worked out for the Warriors on Thursday. They own the No. 7 pick in the draft June 28.
The NFL went public with some of its evidence in the New Orleans Saints bounty program. Among the things the league revealed: a prize of $35,000 or more for knocking Brett Favre out of the NFC Championship game in January 2010.
Kent State eliminated top-seeded Florida from the College World Series with a 5-4 victory in Omaha, Neb. Arkansas beat South Carolina 2-1, ending the Gamecocks' NCAA tournament record winning streak at 22 games. South Carolina will have to beat Kent State on Wednesday to keep alive its hopes of winning a third straight national title.
