Former Cal star Alex Morgan is one of three finalists for the women's FIFA Ballon d'Or soccer award.

Morgan's U.S. national team teammate Abby Wambach and five-time winner Marta of Brazil also are in the running.

The U.S. gold medal-winning team at the London Olympics could dominate the women's awards at FIFA's annual ceremony Monday in Geneva. Former U.S. coach Pia Sundhage is favored to be selected best coach.

Argentina's Lionel Messi is the overwhelming favorite to win the men's award.

Swimming

The Stanford men and women swept to dual-meet victories over visiting Pacific on Saturday.

The individual winners in the Stanford women's 147-104 victory were Natalie Durant (1,000-yard freestyle), Andie Taylor (200 free), Felicia Lee (100 backstroke), Sarah Haase (100 breaststroke), Kaia Simmons (200 butterfly), Andi Murez (50 free), Maddy Schaefer (100 free), Annemarie Thayer (back) and Katie Olsen (200 breast).

The individual winners in the Stanford men's victory were Bryan Offutt (1,000 free), Sean Duggan (200 free), Matthew Swanston (100 back), Mason Shaw (100 breast), Mack Montgomery (200 fly), Aaron Wayne (50 free), Ethan Hallowell (100 free), David Nolan (200 back) and Robert Hommel (200 breast).

    Men's volleyball

    Brian Cook had 19 kills to lead Stanford to a 25-18, 23-25, 25-16, 25-18 victory over George Mason at Maples Pavilion. Daniel Tublin added 14 kills in his first start.

    Basketball

    Tony Mitchell had 21 points as Fort Wayne (7-10) cruised 118-90 over visiting Santa Cruz (9-4).

    Travis Leslie had 17 points for the Warriors.
