Brandon Clark scored a career-high 17 points for the Broncos, and Raymond Cowels III recorded his first career double-double, with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Evan Roquemore led Santa Clara (12-5, 1-2 West Coast Conference) with 21 points.
Loyola (8-8, 1-2) rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit.
Kevin Foster made just 3 of 15 3-point tries for Santa Clara, but the three conversions give him 363 in his career, tied with ex-LMU star Jeff Fryer for the WCC record.
San Diego 70, USF 66: Johnny Dee scored 17 points and Cameron Miles hit back-to-back 3-pointers that helped visiting San Diego (9-8, 2-0 WCC) beat USF. The Toreros snapped a six-game losing streak to the Dons (7-9, 0-3), who got 19 points from Cody Doolin.
Oregon 70, Arizona 66: E.J. Singler scored 14 points and host Oregon dealt No. 4 Arizona its first loss of the season.
Dominic Artis, a freshman from Oakland and former Salesian High star, had 10 points for the Ducks (13-2, 2-0 Pac-12).

UCLA 57, Utah 53: Larry Drew II scored 12 points, including a driving layup with 9 seconds remaining, and visiting UCLA (13-3, 3-0 Pac-12) held off Utah (8-7, 0-3).
Saint Mary's 54, Gonzaga 51: Jackie Nared scored 17 points and Danielle Mauldin had 12 points and a career-high tying 17 rebounds as Saint Mary's (11-4, 3-0 WCC) beat Gonzaga (12-5, 2-1) at McKeon Pavilion for the first time since 2004. The win gave the Gaels sole possession of first place.
Santa Clara 58, Loyola Marymount 54: Lindsay Leo scored 21 points and Santa Clara (10-6, 2-1 WCC) took charge with a 10-0 run midway through the second half to beat visiting Loyola Marymount (7-9, 1-2).
Pepperdine 71, USF 67: Taylor Proctor scored 14 points to lead USF, but host Pepperdine (4-9, 1-1 WCC) beat the Dons (7-9, 0-3).
