The SaberCats sent veteran quarterback Aaron Garcia, who was brought in this offseason in hopes of filling the void created by the retirement of longtime San Jose star Mark Grieb, to Orlando for wide receiver Amarri Jackson on Thursday.

The Predators also acquired offensive lineman Devin Clark in the deal.

Garcia, who holds the Arena Football League career record for yards and touchdowns, had a six-touchdown, five-interception performance in Friday's 69-47 loss to Seattle. Afterward, he was placed on recallable assignment.

Also, Russ Michna, who was home in Chicago last weekend, practiced again with the SaberCats. The former Chicago Rush quarterback will be on the field when San Jose plays at New Orleans on Saturday.
