ThursDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS

Blackhawks: Team officials apologized to the Winnipeg Jets and to the NHL after Jets defenseman Adam Pardy had his helmet removed from his head and had beer poured on him by fans at the United Center during Wednesday's game.

Pardy was checked into the glass during the third period. A section of the glass gave out due to the force and fell onto fans. While officials and players converged on the area, a fan reached around the sheet of glass and pulled Pardy's helmet off his head. The unidentified fan was seen on television wearing the helmet shortly after. Another unidentified fan was seen pouring her beer onto Pardy.

Video and pictures of the fan wearing Pardy's helmet made their way around the Internet on Thursday. It was also shown a number of times on the United Center's video board on Wednesday.

Kings 2, Sabres 0: Mike Richards and Anze Kopitar scored power-play goals, and Jonathan Quick earned his first shutout of the season for Los Angeles' ninth victory in 13 games. Jhonas Enroth stopped 26 shots for the NHL-worst Sabres (3-14-1), who couldn't follow up their stunning win at San Jose. Buffalo hasn't won consecutive games all season.

Stars 4, Red Wings 3: Rich Peverley's goal at 4:41 of overtime completed Dallas' comeback, handing Detroit its fourth straight home loss. Shawn Horcoff, Jamie Benn and Cody Eakin also for Dallas.

Blues 3, Flames 2: Alexander Steen scored his league-leading 14th goal, and Brian Elliott stopped 18 shots for his 100th career win.
