Piedmont students back to school on Wednesday

School opens for all Piedmont students on Wednesday.

Beach students who spent their last school year at the Emeryville campus, will be returning to their home school, the last to be retrofitted under the district's seismic bond program.

Residents are reminded to drive carefully, and obey all laws regarding school buses.

It is against the law to pass a school bus that is stopped to load or unload students.

There are large fines associated with exceeding the speed limit in a school zone or pulling around a stopped school bus.
