Monday, sept. 3

  • 4:15 p.m. -- Grand Avenue. A caller who apparently misdialed 911 was still transferred to the Oakland police since the incident occurred within their city, police said.

    Tuesday, sept. 4

  • 9:41 a.m. -- Grand Avenue. Police arrested a man, 49, after officers discovered that he was wanted on a warrant stemming from an Alameda County Sherriff's Office case.

  • 1:59 p.m. -- Cambridge Way. A resident reported that their home was burglarized sometime during the previous three hours, police said.

  • 3:50 p.m. -- Glen Alpine Road. A woman told police that someone stole a purse from her residence.

    Wednesday, sept. 5

  • 2:19 p.m. -- Abbott Way. A resident reported computer fraud.

  • 4:55 p.m. -- Grand Avenue. A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported.

    Thursday, sept. 6

  • 10:30 a.m. -- Magnolia Avenue. A woman told police that someone rifled through her unlocked vehicle and stole three bags containing clothes, as well as a duffle bag. The theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m.

    Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

  • 11:41 a.m. -- Maxwelton Road. A woman told police that someone stole a package from off her front porch. While the theft was reported Thursday, it occurred July 10, police said.

  • 1:48 p.m. -- Fairview & Grand avenues. A woman told police that two robbers brandished a gun at her and told her "she was going to die," police records show. The suspects, who were traveling in an older vehicle that was possibly a Camaro, fled on Grand toward Safeway, police said.

  • 9:14 p.m. -- Cambrian Street. A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported. The collision is believed to have occurred sometime during the previous three hours.

    Friday, sept. 7

  • 1:30 p.m. -- Alta Avenue. Firefighters extinguished a fire inside a basement of a residence.

    Saturday, sept. 8

  • 9:52 p.m. -- Mountain & Park avenues. A possible attempted vehicle theft was reported.
