PINOLE -- An El Sobrante teen was arrested Wednesday outside a Pinole Wingstop on suspicion of having a loaded gun as well as cocaine, police said.

About 2:30 p.m., officers responded to the restaurant on Fitzgerald Drive after callers said they saw a person with a gun tucked into a waistband.

Police found a 17-year-old El Sobrante resident matching witnesses' descriptions, and he was booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of having a loaded gun in public, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possessing a narcotic.

The teen's name is not being released because he's a juvenile, police added.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the Pinole Police Department at 510-724-8950.
