The following calls were among those handled by the Pittsburg police July 8-14 according to information provided by the Police Department.

July 8

  • Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2200 block East Leland Road.

  • Interference: Someone was arrested on Barrus and Carpino avenues for interfering with the duties of a police officer.

  • Shots fired: Officers responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied dwelling in the 100 block of School Street.

    July 9

  • Accident: A misdemeanor hit-and-run accident occurred in the 4400 block of Century Boulevard.

  • Burglary: A residence in the 100 block of Marks Boulevard was burglarized.

  • Recovery: Officers recovered a stolen vehicle from the 4200 block of Suzanne Drive.

    July 10

  • License violation: Someone was cited on East 12th and Pine streets for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

  • Accident: A vehicle accident with property damage occurred on Highway 4 and Loveridge Road.

  • DUI: Someone was arrested in the 100 block of Power Avenue when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.

    July 11

  • Burglary: A vehicle

    in the 100 block of River Park Drive was burglarized.

  • Vandalism: Officers responded to the 2200 block of Santa Maria Drive for a report of vandalism.

  • Warrant: Someone was arrested in the 2200 block of West Leland Road and Woodhill Drive for an outstanding warrant.

    July 12

  • Assault: Officers responded to the 2000 block of Loveridge Road for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

  • Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from Loveridge Road and Stoneman Avenue.

  • Battery: Officers responded to the 100 block of Pelican Loop for a report of battery.

    July 13

  • Stolen vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1000 block of Power Avenue.

  • Drugs: Someone was arrested in the 200 block of Davi Avenue for suspected drug possession.

  • Burglary: A residence in the 200 block of East Trident Drive was burglarized.

  • Grand theft: Officers responded to the 100 block of Arlington Drive for a report of grand theft.

  • Drugs: Someone was arrested in the 1300 block of Buchanan Road for suspected drug possession.

  • DUI: Someone was arrested in the 200 block of West Leland Road when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.
