Falcons win first league title since '94

The College Park High baseball team certainly had reason to celebrate after beating visiting Northgate 2-0 on May 15, as the Falcons claimed their first league title in since 1994. Freshman Joe DeMers was in the center of the action, tossing a one-hitter with eight strikeouts in the victory. College Park finished the regular season 18-6 overall and 11-1 in the Diablo Valley Athletic League. The Falcons earned the No. 5 seed in the North Coast Section Division II playoffs.
