Cliff and Leslynn McAuliffe of Martinez take a moment to catch up on the community news in the Pleasant Hill/Martinez Record over the Christmas holidays. They were exploring the islands east of La Paz, Mexico, during a visit with friends Ann Adams of Pleasant Hill and Bob Johnson of Berkeley. Everyone spent three days sailing and ejnoying Isla Espirito Santo, a national reserve, and a whirlwind tour of La Paz. Adams and Johnson were getting ready to embark on at least a one-year sailing adventure.
