'Super Sunday' Record

Super Bowl Sunday wasn't just a day of football for some members of Boy Scout Troop 277 of Pleasant Hill. The group met at 6:30 a.m. for their annual 10-mile round-trip hike to the top of Mount Diablo. They were on the trail by 8 o'clock and at the summit, they took a rest, had lunch, and caught up with the community news in the Pleasant Hill/Martinez Record. The weather for the hike was good this year, but in the past, the group has braved rain and even snow on one occasion. They made it back to their couches in time for snacks at the start of the game.

It doesn't matter if your time away is spent across San Francisco Bay or across the country -- remember to pack the Record to keep up with news of the community, and then show your neighbors where you have been.
