PUG RESCUE

Mocha is a 9 year-old, spayed, fawn, female pug surrendered to a shelter when her family had to move. She is sweet, great with other dogs, likes car rides, loves to have her tummy rubbed and ears scratched, and is a constant shadow to her human. She has some arthritis, slight loss of vision which is not a hindrance, and is a little overweight. She can walk, but slowly and not far. Mocha is current on vaccinations and microchipped. PROS adoption is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. the third Sunday at Pet Food Express, at Oak Grove Road and Treat Boulevard, Concord.

MUSH

Maya just turned 5 years old and weighs about 97 pounds. She is house trained and kept outside recently, but should adapt easily to being inside. She loves kids, riding in the car, is good on a leash and knows sit, down and come. Maya is playful, loving and well-mannered. She would get along with another malamute, but no cats, small animals or farm animals.
