Record sailing adventure

Ann Adams of Pleasant Hill and Bob Johnson of Berkeley, pictured, met friends Cliff and Leslynn McAuliffe of Pleasant Hill during the Christmas holidays in La Paz, Mexico, for a few days of sailing and exploring the area before Adams and Johnson embarked on a one-year sailing adventure to the South Pacific. (They were most recently posting online from Bora Bora, in the Society Islands of French Polynesia.) Before leaving Mexico, the group visited Isla Espiritu Santo, a national reserve, as well as the town of La Paz.

It doesn't matter if your time away is spent across the Bay or across the country -- remember to pack the Record to keep up with news of the community, and then show your neighbors where you have been.
