Record in Paris

Pleasant Hill resident Toni Mayell traveled to Oxford, England, in March, stayed with friends and enjoyed nine days of sunshine. During her trip, she rode through the Chunnel to and from Paris, where she had two days to explore and noted that after a 26-year absence, everything was "new" again and better than she remembered. She took a moment to catch up on the community news in the Pleasant Hill/Martinez Record on the Ile de la Cite -- location of Notre Dame cathedral -- looking back toward the Musee D'Orsay.

It doesn't matter if your time away is spent across San Francisco Bay or across the country -- remember to pack the Record to keep up with news of the community, and then show your neighbors where you have been. Email in .jpg format to record@bayareanewsgroup.com or send to Record on the Road, c/o the Pleasant Hill/Martinez Record, 2640 Shadelands Drive, Walnut Creek, CA 94598.
