Along Gregory Lane in Pleasant Hill, Bryan Stauder of Concord prunes a liquidambar tree for Nachtrieb Kymer Tree Care, based in Martinez. It is forecast to approach 70 degrees by the weekend, with only a slight possibility of rain early next week, when cooler temperatures come back into the region.
