Pleasant Hill resident Dana Simmons visited her grandson, Demetrius Loufas, in Changchun in northeast China where he was teaching at the University of Science and Technology. He and some friends took a moment with his grandmother to read the community news in the Pleasant Hill/Martinez Record during a visit to the Sculpture Garden in Changchun.
