Balancing act

Sararak Saprio of Pleasant Hill balances herself while slacklining at Hidden Lakes Park in Martinez. Slackliners balance themselves on a one- or two-inch wide nylon or polyester webbing anchored between two points, most often trees. Slacklines are more flexible than tightropes, which can allow for tricks and stunts.
