Giants 14, Tigers 10: Summer Throne kicked off the season with a two-run homer to left and also pitched well. Marley Heim tagged out two runners at the plate to keep the game close. Kelsey Rumbaugh had a pair of doubles, scored twice, while Vanessa Osti played well at shortstop and pitched the first and last innings to help lead the Giants to an opening day win.

Reds 11, Giants 7: Down 11-2, the Giants staged a late rally that fell short. Eleanor Campbell and Olivia Cannizzo both ripped RBI singles, and Maddie Kalil had a two-run double in the last inning. Ariel Lauritsen made a nice catch in deep center to prevent two runs from scoring.

Giants 16, Royals 5: Abby Morris went 3 for 3 with a towering double and scored three runs. Kailey Meyer had a pair of hits and made several nice plays at first to save runs. Alison Derby crushed a ball to deep center and scored twice. Jenna Olson went a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate and pitched the final inning, turning a double play to end the game as the Giants rolled to their second victory.
