THURSDAY, AUG. 22

  • DUI -- A motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after a vehicle was driven into the front yard of a home in the 100 block of Ironwood Drive.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A caller reported at 9:33 a.m. that one vehicle struck another in the 300 block of Civic Drive.

  • Residential burglary -- A caller from the 100 block of Luella Drive reported that a man in a pickup told him he was a tree trimmer, and the two proceeded to the caller's backyard. The homeowner believed that during that time the man's accomplice entered the house and stole an estimated $2,000 worth of jewelry.

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 1:52 a.m. that someone broke a passenger window of a van in the 300 block of South Third Avenue. It is unknown what was taken.

  • PARAPHERNALIA -- At 2:21 p.m., a caller reported seeing several people in a van parked in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard and that they appeared to be smoking and undressing. Police arrested one of the occupants on suspicion of possession of syringes.

  • CRASH -- It was reported at 3:26 p.m. that the driver of a vehicle had driven through a fence between Interstate 680 and Buskirk Avenue.

    FRIDAY, AUG. 23

  • FIGHTING -- At 1:28 a.m., police were notified that 15 people were in a brawl in the 1900 block of Contra Costa Boulevard.

  • WEAPON -- A 9 mm pistol and an iPod were reported stolen at 1:34 p.m. at a business in the 700 block of Elllinwood Way.

    SATURDAY, AUG. 24

  • SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE -- A man reported to people inside a business in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard at approximately 4:45 p.m. that he had been assaulted and people were stealing items from his vehicle in the parking lot. A witness saw a few men and women loitering near a van and then the group fled.

  • WEAPON -- An employee at a business in the 500 block of Contra Costa Boulevard reported at 4:52 p.m. that a man with a handgun tucked under his shirt had entered the store and then left.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- At 6:48 p.m., a caller reported that a vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of Massolo Drive.

  • ROBBERY -- In the 300 block of Golf Club Road, a woman reported at 7:56 p.m. that as she was meeting two men to sell video games she had listed online, one of them pointed a knife at her and demanded she return the money to them before they fled the scene on bikes.

    SUNDAY, AUG. 25

  • THEFT -- It was reported at 4:45 p.m. that someone stole an estimated $300 worth of item(s) from a business in the 500 block of Contra Costa Boulevard.

  • THEFT -- At 4:46 p.m., a bicycle was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Contra Costa Boulevard.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A hit-and-run was reported at 6:04 p.m. at Contra Costa Boulevard and Woodsworth Lane.

    MONDAY, AUG. 26

  • THEFT -- At 7:32 a.m., a worker reported that someone had broken into a construction site in the 300 block of Civic Drive and may have stolen property.

  • theft -- Two bicycles were reported stolen at 3:07 p.m. at the BART station, and at 6:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Lockwood Lane.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- It was reported at 11:24 a.m. that a vehicle struck a bus at Buskirk Avenue and Monument Boulevard and drove off.

  • ABUSE -- At 12:44 p.m., it was reported that a couple got out of their vehicle in the 700 block of Contra Costa Boulevard and started hitting a child in the face and shaking him.

  • SHOPLIFTING -- A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at 6:24 p.m. at a business in the 2300 block of Monument Boulevard.

    TUESDAY, AUG. 27

  • THEFT -- Merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 500 block of Contra Costa Boulevard by three women at 1:21 p.m.

  • theft -- A bike was reported stolen at 1:44 p.m. from a school on Viking Drive.

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 5:25 p.m., a caller reported that he was approached by two men in a business parking lot in the 2100 block of Contra Costa Boulevard who offered to sell him what he suspected was stolen merchandise. He said no, and was hassled by the men, one of whom reached into the caller's vehicle and grabbed a box of personal belongings. They fled when the victim said he was calling 911.

    WEDNESDAY, AUG. 28

  • THEFT -- A cellphone was reported stolen at 4:14 p.m. at a business in the 700 block of Contra Costa Boulevard.
