Falcons want to build on win streak

The College Park High football team pulled into second place in the Diablo Valley Athletic League standings with its 35-26 victory over Concord on Oct. 25. Sophomore running back Ray Jackson, pictured, rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns, including an 80-yard scoring run on the Falcons' first offensive play. Since an ugly loss to Clayton Valley Charter in its DVAL opener, College Park has won two straight to climb into a tie with Concord and Northgate at 2-1 in DVAL play. The Falcons will try to make it three wins in a row when they travel to Northgate on Nov. 1 for a 7 p.m. game.
