Mother Goose Time: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays throughApril 15 (no session Feb. 25). There will be stories and songs, followed by a simple craft time. Best for ages 6 months-3 years old.
Literary Birthdays: Polly Horvath On A Waffle: 3:45-4:45 p.m. Jan. 28. Kids celebrate the birthday of author Polly Horvath, whose book, "Everything on a Waffle," was the inspiration for the giant bookworm. Listen to a chapter of the book, make a present for Polly, and enjoy games and cake (maybe waffles?).
Knitting and Crochet Winter Workshop: 6-7:30 p.m. Jan. 21, 28. Helping Hands Foundation teaches knitting or crochet. The free workshop is geared to young people 18 and under, but adults who wish to learn are welcome, though supplied materials may be limited.
Beading with Yolanda: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 21. Teens and all ages can create jewelry with beading crafter Yolanda. Free with beads and supplies provided. Space is limited to 15. Register by 11 p.m. Jan. 20.
Saturday Needle Art with Marilyn: 1-3:30 p.m. Jan. 18, Feb. 8, 22. Free. Teens and adults can drop in to work on current projects or restart a needle art hobby. Hands-on knit and crochet instructions from Marilyn.

Jungle James: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 28. Kids can join Jungle James as he introduces live reptiles from all over the world.
Eco Sewing: 3-5 p.m. Jan. 22, 29, Feb. 19, 26. Teens can learn sewing machine skills and create upcycled fabric creations. The event is led by a recycling educator and artist. Crafts made will be used toward TAG's annual Art, Jazz and Wine Festival donation drive, and will benefit the library.
eBook Info Session: 1-2:30 p.m. Jan. 18. The class offers teens, adults and seniors a tour of the library's three eBook catalogs, directions on downloads, eBook download troubleshooting, handouts and roving volunteer help. Can be useful on devices such as Kindle, iPad, iPhone, Android, Nook, etc.
Covered CA A One-on-one Affordable Care Act Enrollment Help: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 25. Covered California enrollment counselors will talk to participants, explaining coverage options and helping with selections based on need and budget, on a first-come, first-served basis.
